This add-on allows you to find and import notes from another profile into your currently loaded profile. For example, you can make a “sentence bank” profile where you store thousands of cards generated by subs2srs, and then use this add-on to search for and import cards with certain words into your main profile. This helps keep your main profile uncluttered and free of large amounts of unneeded media.
This add-on is a continuation of the original Cross Profile Search and Import.

After installation, restart Anki and go to “AJT” > “Cross Profile Search and Import”.
Set the following settings.
The profile and deck to import from. The deck to import to and the Note Type to use. Use the search bar to find notes. Select the notes you want to import and press “Import”. Support what I do

All good, If you’re running out of space on your main drive, you can move the collection.media folder to another drive and use a symlink, (on windows)

Web search doen’t work, “No notes found”. Comment from author Apparently, the API has changed, and we can’t do anything with it for the time being.

If you type tag:yourtagname (for example, tag:marked) in the search field, you can search by a tag.

it is absolutely brillant ! I have a massive bank of Maths questions and I can quickly import a few of them (or all) in a student anki datatbase. it would be great to be able to see all the cards available without doing a search (i often have only pictures in my cards so can not do a word search!)

I tried it and i think it’s great. It is useful, especially for the cases when you can’t get the original audio of the word. For example, when you read a book and create a card with the word from this book, you still need somebody to pronounce it properly. This is where this addon come in handy: you donwload a huge pre-made deck of anime cards and keep it in a separate profile. You search for your word and you get great sentence from these anime cards, accompanied with audio and picture.
