Adds a temporary patch V2 and fixes to make broken Ankimon work with the latest Anki 25.07+. This V2 of the patch fixes a bug that only occurs for new Ankimon users. This patch does not change Ankimon’s code or data so it will not affect your Ankimon data. If your Ankimon is already working this patch is not necessary.

How to use Downloading this will auto apply the patch. When the patch is successful a pop-up will be displayed then please restart Anki. Once the installation is successful the main patch will be generated. In short there will be two add-ons for Patch V2, which is normal and not a duplicate. Like this: Q. Why are there two patch add-ons? To apply the patch we need to install the add-on before Ankimon, but this is not possible with a normal add-on so it is separated into a different add-on, and this add-on alone cannot update the patch, so there are two add-ons the installer and the main. Notes This add-on requires 2 restarts, because the patch is applied after Ankimon encounters an error, and Ankimon must then be restarted. This add-on is intended to be temporary and disposable, so no major modifications are planned, only critical bugs will be fixed. Once Ankimon has been repaired and updated, this add-on will no longer be necessary. Also this patch does not change Ankimon’s code or data, so if you disable or delete the add-on it will be restored to its original state. (the Module added by the Launcher will remain even after the Add-on is deleted but it will be deleted when you update Anki.) If the patch does not work or you encounter other bugs, please contact me.

📥 How do I install this add-on? This add-on works with Anki for desktop (it does not work on mobile). Download Anki from the official website if you haven’t already. This add-on only includes the code for repairs and does not include Ankimon code or media so if you haven’t downloaded the original Ankimon yet please download it. Copy and paste the add-on code ( 1947038262 ) into Anki and you can install it. ( Menu -> Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons -> Code [ add-on code ] ) When I develop bug fixes, create new features, or compatibility for New Anki, I will notify you and you can install it. Maybe, I’m confused but I can’t seem to get the fix to work. I used the code to get the add-on, closed Anki twice, and see both “Ankimon Patch V2 main by Shige” and “Ankimon Patch V2 Installer - Fix Patch for Ankimon Fixed by Shige” under my add-ons but I still can’t manage to download the main Ankimon add-on without issue. The addon worked for the first time, then I tried to download resources from ankimon, it then crashed Anki. All subsequent opening of anki, it stopped working.
