Adds checkboxes on the browse menu to allow easy searching through tags in the AnKing Step Deck. Appends common/convenient search terms to your searches.

I made this addon to help prioritize which cards i unsuspend while learning a new system/unit. I first start by only unsuspending the Basic cards, followed by High Yield, then High Yield + Step 2, and finally any remaining cards throughout my units. This allows a layered/structured approach to doing the anki cards, starting with the most basic and High Yield first and progressing to the more difficult material later on, as opposed to unsuspending all of them at once and having a very high workload without foundational knowledge first. I also use this to consolidate which cards are the most important if i don’t have sufficient time before an exam to get through all of them.
This addon is modified from the existing QuickSearch addon
Functionality Suspended: Show only suspended cards No Extra: Exclude cards that only have the “Extra” subtag Basic: High yield and basic conceptual cards. Searches for “1-HighYield” or “3-HighYield-temporary” tags High Yield: All high yield-tagged cards. Searches for “1-HighYield,” “2-RelativelyHighYield,” or “3-HighYield-temporary” tags only HY + Step 2: All high yield-tagged plus any cards tagged for Step 2 New: Show only new cards (cards that you haven’t studied yet) Review: Show only cards that have been studied and are pending review in the future Updates
Update 02/20/26:
“HY + Step 2” now filters using the new “#AK_Other::Only_Step_1&2_Overlap” and “#AK_Other::Only_Step_2” tags, instead of including any card with a Step 2 tag This change was done to better align with the goal of that filter option by utilizing this new tagging project by the AnKing team.
Update 01/31/26:
“No Extra” now works for parent tags (ie, selecting the tag for an entire chapter). Previously, it only worked if you selected a video tag. Also works for non-B&B tags (ie, Step 2 FirstAid) Replaced “Due” checkbox with “Review” as it is more useful

Great addon! Now I can find high yield cards much faster! Would it be possible to have another default search term for the new Only_Step_1 tag? Thanks again for making this addon available. Funny enough, I was actually considering doing the opposite — adding a button to exclude the Only Step 1, so that there’s a button for students preparing for Step 2. I’m not quite sure about an Only Step 1 button since its main use would be to suspend cards aft
