Adds a hotkey and menu item to the browser that launches a filtered deck creation dialog based on the current search.
Hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+D
The dialog will be placed above Anki’s main window (this is a limitation of the deck creation dialog).
COMPATIBILITY
Initial tests have shown this add-on to both work on Anki 2.0.x and Anki 2.1.x. However, as the Anki 2.1.x line of releases is still in beta, I cannot provide any kind of official support for this platform. Please do not report issues with Anki 2.1 in the review section below. Instead, please report all issues you encounter on GitHub.

It’s not working with anything. I’ve tried with multiple decks on my Anki but for some reason it’s unable to locate cards. The message says “the provided search did not match any cards” when I have hundreds of cards selected. Could anyone help with this? I’m not sure if its cuz its clashing with another addon. I recently downloaded extended heatmap (which i rlly rlly like) and i wanted to be able to pick only the hard cards from there and create a filtered deck. How can i make this work?

If you have the “Custom Keyboard Shortcuts” (CKS) add on you will have the change one of the config settings or the filtered deck option won’t work. Scroll to the item listed below in the CKS config.

Excellent Add-on!!! I’m learning the Kanji of the Genki books, I learn them chapter by chapter. I wanted to create a new pool/deck with all the kanji I’ve already review. With this add-on is easy! I go to browser cards > I select the deck of a chapter > select all cards > ctrl + shift + a to add a tag > create a filtered deck with the cards with the tag I created. Wonderful!
