Now works with nested decks!
Anki add-on that delays all cards by the number of days the deck is overdue. It essentially removes all the missed days.
You may also manually choose how many days you wish to delay the entire deck by. You can also bring the cards in the deck forward by entering negative numbers.
inputing 4 delays all cards in the deck by 4 days inputing -4 brings all cards in the deck forward by 4 days
Usage Click on the gear icon for the specific deck you want to delay. Choose delay option in the menu.
Caution Please be careful to not get into the habit of constantly delaying cards instead of studying.

Great, this should be a stock Anki feature. I was trying to do the reviews while sick and ended up looping the same 3 one-word cards for 5 minutes straight before giving up.

Fantastic add-on - I missed a day due to travel after a long streak and was not looking forward to 6+ hours of just flashcards whilst on holiday to make up for it. A piece of advise would be to potentially delete this add-on after a usage, such that it’s not a method to bail you out of reviews and support procrastination but rather a way to prevent sucking the fun out of learning on the odd chance that you need it.

I have a limited daily time for review and if I miss a day, it takes a week to catch up while feeling bad every day! I already put off some cards each day in that case, using this addon, at least, I don’t see those piled up cards each day!

Fantastic, especially for those who have been with the same deck for some time and have a tremendous amount of cards. A day or two will make no difference in the long-term, but resting and enjoying time with your family will. Go for it!

I use this to add-on every Sunday, which allows me to take one day off to be with family and not have Anki hanging over my head. Clearly my accuracy may be slightly lower than if I never used this, but even seeing all of my cards at intervals approximately 1.16 times as long as what is recommended gives me good results in med school. If it bugs you that much, you can change the interval to take this into consideration as well. Literally a life-changing add-on!

I’m both glad and surprised this still works since it’s 3 years old. Ignore the bad reviews since they just don’t like the fact that this add-on exists in the first place, it definitely works. And how other people review doesn’t affect them, so they shouldn’t judge them for it. I’ve stopped using my deck for over a month and deleted it, mistakenly believing if I came back the reviews would have paused too. After coming back, I tried to chip at the reviews but I just wanted to give up and thought

Delay by -1 days allows moving Due Date of ALL cards ahead by 1 day, since “Review Ahead” by 1 day leaves a mostly-empty Review Day for Tomorrow.

Love this “deal with the devil” add-on because it gives you a bit more control over your life. Just don’t abuse it, but you can do that, right?
