Update/warning: Something broke in the latest version of Anki and now even the latest version of this plugin is not functional. The root of the problem can be found in this support ticket: https://forums.ankiweb.net/t/can-the-shadow-input-doms-be-modified-to-show-an-id/9140
An updated version repo is included in that link, but until Anki fixes the DOM issues pointed out above this plugin will be non-functional.
This is an updated version of Sartak’s Editor Autocomplete plugin, which only works with Anki 2.0x. You can find the original add-on page, which describes how it works, here: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/924298715
