This add-on is a fixed and customized version of the “Enhance main window” for Anki24+ (Fork), most parts of the code are credited to the author Arthur Milchior. This custom version fixes bugs, enhances the user interface, and added some new columns.

Basic how to use
These descriptions are based on the original Enhance main Window description.
Drag and drop
Columns can be rearranged by drag and drop. Click Menu
Click on a Column to open a menu.
Open the options for the currently selected Column. Delete Column Columns that have been deleted can be redisplayed from the options. Custom -> Global 1 -> Toggle on off all columns Config If you want to edit the json directly or reset the settings, open Config from Tools. Tools -> Add-ons -> Enhance main window -> Config Options

Great Addon!
Only thing is that I can’t select the deck on the main screen anymore, can be any bug? (I still can enter the deck to study it, so is nothing but a small issue) I’m also using your other addon “Anki redesign”.
19/12/2025_Edit: I removed the addon (this one only) and the issue’s gone. I’m always creating new cards and decks, so to not be able to select the deck I want to edit or create subdecks turn out as a big annoyance. I suspect the “Pop Up”s (the ones who explain what each col

and a request, if you’d hear it: is it possible to color a deck name based on how I’ve done with the reviews that day? for example: -one color: if I have cards due in the deck and didn’t review anything -one color: started reviews, still some are due -one color: completed the due reviews for the day

Great addon, but I don’t like seeing a changelog everytime I open Anki without any option to disable it. sadly this makes the home screen a lot slower, is there a fix to this? Comment from author Hello thanks for reporting the problem. If I remember correctly this problem has been around since the original add-on, this add-on does a lot of calculations so larger decks can slow it down. I’ll look into it to see if there is a workaround.

I think beautify-Anki already exists in a fixed version by mizmu (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1116770498), but enhance main window is not compatible with beautify-Anki because the mechanism is completely different.
