This add-on is a simple fork (copy) of ” Google Dictionary” for Anki23+. How to use it, please refer to the original add-on. (If the original add-on has been updated to Anki 23.10+, this fork is not required.)

Google Search -> Search “my user agent” -> copy -> add-on Config -> “0101-User-Agent”: paste

[ 📥 How do I install this add-on? ] Copy and paste the add-on code ( 1947506677 ) into Anki and you can install it. ( Menu -> Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Add-ons -> Code [ add-on code ] ) When I develop bug fixes, create new features, or compatibility for New Anki, I will notify you and you can install it. Fetches WIKTIONARY definitions instead of the Google ones (Oxford). Still a great tool nonetheless, if a bit misleading. Comment from author thanks for the feedback! I’ll add that when I write the add-on wiki later.

But I have an issue that I can’t add pronunciation audio. A while ago, I added pronunciation of “sobriquet” and it worked. I tried it recently and it doesn’t work anymore

This is a good addon. I am learning English vocab. Thanks a lot. This addon is saving a lot of time. There is one thing I can’t figure out, though. I want phonetics, definitions and pronunciation to be in different fields. Everything is being written to 3rd field. this is my field numbering looks like..

I can’t add the pronunciation, the button is dim and can’t be pressed. they other functions work but I only needed the pronunciation addition feature. Could you please fix that. I have the latest anki version. Thank you. Comment from author Thank you for the error report.

It’s an excellent addon, but I think it could be better
Could you add an easier way to change the language, instead of selecting and searching? ex: in the front/back tab, automatically invert the chosen language, this would help a lot option to reverse languages, thanks Comment from author Thanks for your feedback, I’ll try to see if I can add the feature.
