Mô tả chi tiết

This Anki add-on calculates the number of Hanzi that you have learned so far in the following categories:

HSK (1992) aka HSK 1.0 levels HSK (2010) and HSK (2012) aka HSK 2.0 levels HSK (2021) aka HSK 3.0 bands 6000 most frequently used simplified characters (divided into 12 categories) TBCL (20220920) levels TOCFL (2023) levels 6000 most frequently used traditional characters (divided into 12 categories)

Users can configure which categories are enabled or disabled. The default is to enable the HSK (2012), HSK (2021), and most frequently used characters categories (both simplified and traditional characters) and disable the TBCL, TOCFL, and oldest HSK categories. Users can also configure which URL is opened when clicking on a character as well as which field to search for characters.

Its home page is https://github.com/trevorld/Hanzi_Stats. Please report any bugs and feature requests to its issue tracker.

This is an updated version of the Anki Hanzi Stats plugin by Ben Lickly that could previously be found at https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/296672579. This version includes the following modifications by Trevor L. Davis:

The New HSK (aka v2.0) character lists has been updated from the 2010 version to the 2012 version. Added a new list of the 2021 (aka v3.0) HSK character lists The 6000 most frequent simplified characters in the original plugin have been replaced by the list computed by Dr. Sharoff. Add a new list of 6000 most frequent traditional characters. By default only looks for characters in the “sort field” instead of all fields. Which field(s) to look for Hanzi can be configured in the Anki 2.1.x version (Thanks Kyle Waranis for patch). By default clicking character links now sends you to hanzicraft.com instead of dict.cn. Which URL to look up characters can be configured in the Anki 2.1.x version. Got rid of the HSK A, HSK B, HSK E, and HSK I categories. Fixed some typos. In the Anki 2.1.x version allows users to configure which categories to show. Update the code so it still works when there are non-reversible-compatible changes made to Anki (Thanks Andreas Rücklé for patch). Added new categories for the Taiwanese TOCFL (2023) and TBCL (20220920) wordlists (Thanks Kat Tipton for patch). Restore HSK (1992) and HSK (2010) levels as optional categories

This plugin was originally written by Ben Lickly based on Japanese Stats by Damien Elmes. This modified version also includes a contribution by Kyle Waranis as well as a couple modified code snippets from the Chinese Support plugin by Roland Sieker and Thomas Tempé (which was also based on a plugin by Damien Elmes).

The plugin is available under the GNU GPL, version 3 or later; http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html

Yes, extremely useful! On a personal level, I get motivated by this sort of score-keeping. I love seeing the numbers go up! So thank you so much for this!

I liked it but it lacked some features I wanted. I created a new addon for simplified Chinese: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/674410960. My addon is more flexible in selecting which decks and fields to include in the analysis.

Garbage. It can only check through the ENTIRE collection. Wtf. What if I also studied Japanese? Also you can only choose a “fieldToUseForStats” param as “1”, “2”, “3”, etc or “all”. Wtf. Can’t you be more user friendly and at least allow to filter by name not by a f*cking integer through the entire collection. And why not multiple fields? Useless.

Very helpful! Even shows the Hanzi not accounted for yet per the cards studied.

Works great! Would be cool if it could also do stats on words rather than just characters. Also, is there a way to add a space between categories to break up the long list a bit? Like an extra line break? I played around in the config and couldn’t figure it out.

Note to other users: you may have to change which field it uses to look for Hanzi. Mine are not in the ‘Sort’ field, but in a field called ‘Simplified’, which is the second field in my notes, so in the config, I replaced “sortField” to

Works great for me on Anki ⁨24.06.3. The config options are very useful.

Super helpful for tracking my progress

yip, made my stats, and discovered some Cantonese Hanzi in my decks that are common in Cantonese but don’t show up in the HSK lists, also characters that were missing from cc-canto for Cantonese - nice KPI for progressing your characters.

Thx

Great for tracking my Chinese progress.

The best plugin out there together with “Audio playback controls” for Mandarin learners!! Thank you so much!!!!!!

Thumbs up because I’m sure my issue is user error. This is a really neat add-on, but the stats it’s giving me are definitely not correct - it thinks I’ve got over 1200 unique characters in my seen cards, which I definitely don’t. Scrolling through the list of characters it IDs as seen, the ones in HSK 1 and 2 are mostly correct, but from 3 on it’s full of characters I’ve never seen.

Anyway, I’m sure this is something to do with my using a shared deck, but even after troubleshooting a bit I co

Great add-on, love the stats! But what about HSK 3.0 man? Would be really nice to have this in the overview now that HSK 3.0 is taking over the world. Comment from author The version released

supports the new HSK 3.0 categories (in addition to continuing to support the 2012 HSK 2.0 categories). You may need to edit or reset the addon configuration to enable the new HSK 3.0 categories (Click on “Tools” -> “Add-ons” -> “Hanzi Stats” -> “Config” -> “Restore Defaults”). Really good idea.

Question though, will you be updating this to deal with the new HSK 3.0 characters? Comment from author The version released

This is amazingggggggggggggggggg, thank you!!!

PS: Is there currently anyway to select more than one field without selecting all of them? Comment from author Your welcome. No, currently there is no way to select more than one field without selecting all of them but I’d be willing to merge a pull request that adds such configurable support while retaining backwards compatibility: https://github.com/trevorld/Hanzi_Stats/issues/10

This add on is super helpful and works great (for people who say that some words in their deck don’t show on this add on, it might just be a restarting/refreshing problem)! I really enjoy the feature in which every character leads to Hanzi Craft dictionary. Thank you so much for making this, it’s made life a whole lot easier. Grateful :)
