This is a clone of Incremental Reading addon (935264945)
luoliyan (Joseph Lorimer), the maintainer of Incremental Reading, has been offline for more than a year. And the original addon is currently not in a usable state.
I’m interested to try out Incremental Reading and was able to get the addon working. So I’m sharing this here until we hear back from the maintainer.

Great addon!
I mainly use it to read e-books, because I really like the way that text is displayed in the review tab. Also, I really appreciate that it synchronises with ankidroid, to read on the go.
Importing the books as .epubs works seemlessly.
I did however run into some issues:
I don’t like the adddons custom scheduling of IR-cards. It prohibits adding cards of a different note type (eg.: cloze deletion cards) wthin the same deck. Unfortunately, adding cloze deletion cards to a seper

This is great! I really believe there needs to be an open-source incremental reading/learning application that competes with SuperMemo (SM). There’s a remarkable amount of features in SM that I feel have great potential. IR being the core feature I feel that this add-on takes a step in the right direction, but it has a very long way to go. I don’t know how but I feel this community can really pull it off.

Works well after a bit of stumbling. Works out of the box in 23.12.1 (1a1d4d54). Checked user forum and figured out that you can’t put cloze/ basic cards in the same deck as the deck that holds IR cards (note type created when you import for IR). This messes with scheduling and the cloze cards do not show. Current workaround for me is setting all IR content and extracts in one deck, and having a second deck that holds the cloze/ basic. You could move stuff from there to other decks too.
