This add-on adds a life bar to your reviews. Your life reduces within time, and you must answer the questions in order to recover it.
OBJECTIVE
The objective is to give a visual feedback of how fast the questions are being answered. If the life is low, it means that you are distracted or taking too much time to answer.

Great add-on! The only issue I have is that I don’t understand how it updates when I click the undo button. Sometimes the life bar shortens, and sometimes it fills completely. This might not be a problem for most users, but I have a rather compulsive habit of going back and forth with cards, so it makes the add-on a bit less effective for me. And another suggestion: could you add the possibility of showing small markers or divisions along the life bar (for example, every tenth, third, or fifth)?

Great for focus and visual feedback. Now if it had a dynamic life amount unique to each card that would be amazing.
Imagine a fast draining life bar for a card that is historically quick to answer. And a slower draining life bar for a card that historically took more time to answer.

Great addon. I’ve only just started using it but I already really like it. It makes reviews go ridiculously fast. More importantly (in my opinion at least) It also makes reviews much more exciting, so I can’t really imagine ever needing to force myself to do the day’s reviews with this. The addon is very configurable, which is pretty nice. Awesome, it helps keeping me focused.
I had some trouble with the shortcut to recover life, but then I figured I had to disable the “customize keyboard shortcuts” add-on. I’ve set Ctrl+Shift+R and it works perfectly now.

w addon - so helpful! lit cures my adhd
only issue is: i cant seem to configure any shortcut at all for ‘recover life’. i’ve tried so many - a lot which i am certain do not conflict w any - but for some reason none do work. ive tried restarting anki multiple times too. is there any way u could kindly help me fix this apparent bug?

I love this add-on. A game changer. The one issue I have is that the life bar doesn’t reset when I start a new study session for the same deck unless I quit and reopen Anki. I’m not sure if it is purposely built that way or I’m missing something.

This addon is a game-changer for me! I’ve been reviewing more regularly than ever!
I love the option to make your health carry over to other decks. When my health gets low (studying anatomy), I head over to German vocab to charge it back up and then head back to the hard stuff.
Is there a way to make something happen when you run out of health? Maybe play a sound, display a “game over” image overlaid on the window, or (my preference) getting kicked out to the decks screen?

This is a fantastic addon.
One possible improvement would be for the countdown to pause on cards in subdecks that have “Enable for this deck” toggled off.
Not a dealbreaker, though. Thank you so much for making this. Comment from author Oh I don’t use subdecks, so I didn’t test the feature for those. I created a bug report in the repository. Thank you for reporting!
