I. After installing the addon, a “Mind Map Template” menu will appear under the Tools menu. It has 3 options: Create/Update Mind Map Template (with fields) Write DeckSiblings Field Update Template Only (do not change fields) For the first use, execute these three steps in order. Note: Executing “2. Write DeckSiblings Field” takes slightly longer. Wait until the prompt “DeckSiblings write completed: 10612 updated, 0 errors.” appears in the lower left corner, indicating the field write was successful. It takes about 20 seconds for the completion prompt to appear. You can choose different mind map themes and choose to hide the mind map on the card. II. Changing the Card Template: After completing the above 3 steps, click the “Browse” option at the top of Anki. You will see a “Mind Map Template” in the note types on the left; this is the newly generated card template. Right-click on the card note where you want to apply the mind map template, select “Notes” -> “Change Note Type”, and change it to the “Mind Map” template. III. Understanding: The mind map organizes various decks in the form of a mind map Mobile Support: The mind map can be displayed on mobile devices. thanks so much , we can see a big picture of book or learning resources . But i am wondering that mind map template will make the others note types have the Decksibling fields , like the mind map template . Is it really helpful ?
