Mindmap - Visual Learning & Card Linking
Enhance your Anki learning experience with visual organization. This plugin allows you to create mind maps directly within Anki, link them to your flashcards, and navigate bidirectionally between your visual structures and spaced repetition cards.
⚡ Quick Start Workflow
Follow these steps to create your first linked mind map:
Create Map: Go to Tools -> Mind Map -> Mind Map Manager and click New. Link Card: Open the Anki “Add” window or “Browser”. Click the MM button in the editor toolbar and select your map. Edit Content: IMPORTANT! Edit the first line of the card’s “Front” field. This line directly corresponds to the node’s text in the mind map. View Node: Return to the Mind Map editor and press F5 (Refresh). You will see your new node linked automatically. Navigate: In Mind Map: Right-click a node -> “Jump to Card” to open it in the Browser. In Review: Click the Mind Map Badge in the top-right corner to jump instantly to the context node.
Tip: Not all nodes need to be linked to cards. You can freely create unlinked nodes for structure, titles, or brainstorming!
⚠ Important: First Time Sync
CRITICAL STEP FOR NEW USERS
After installing this add-on or using the Active/Inactive feature for the first time, Anki will detect database structure changes (due to the new “MindMap Master” note type).
When Anki asks you to Sync, you MUST choose: “Upload to AnkiWeb”.
This is a one-time requirement. Future operations (adding nodes, linking cards) will sync normally and bidirectionally. 🔗 Seamless Card Linking
Designed for simplicity and compatibility with all note types:
One-Way Initiation: Links are initiated from the Card to the Mind Map using the MM button. This keeps your workflow clean. Bidirectional Content Sync: Map to Card: Editing a node updates the first line of the card’s Front field. Card to Map: Editing the first line of the card’s Front field automatically updates the Mind Map node. 💡 Powerful Editor Features Smart Paste: Copy text from anywhere (browser, PDF). Select a node and press Ctrl+V. A new child node containing that text is automatically created and selected. Floating Nodes: Double-click on any empty space to create independent “floating nodes”. Perfect for brainstorming ideas before organizing them into the main tree. Drag & Drop: Easily rearrange nodes or attach floating nodes to the main tree by dragging. Go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Mind Map -> Config to tailor the experience:
Line Color: Customize connection lines (e.g., “red”, “#4CAF50”, or “rgba(139, 92, 246, 0.6)”). Backgrounds: Add your own images to the backgrounds folder and set them in the config. Hotkeys: Remap standard actions like Save (Ctrl+S), Refresh (F5), or Focus Root (Ctrl+R). 💾 Backup & Portable Export

Export to JSON: Back up all your mind maps safely. Offline Viewer: Every export includes a standalone MindMap_Viewer.html. You can open this file in any web browser to view your mind maps on any device, even without Anki installed. 我用的而最新PC版anki 25.02.7，什么原因 Comment from author 您好，最好是在25.09.2这个特定版本，我不确定更新一点的版本是否有什么改动，但我是在这个版本使用和开发的。其实只要不是大版本更新，一般不用更新anki，基本上不会有什么差别的。
不过我刚才注意到，您说您的版本是25.02，可是当前最新版版本是25.09呀，也就是我这个版本。不过哪怕安装了我这个版本，也建议最好和我安装同样的小版本号。

不过我还是得说明一下，据我所知（或根据我现在的思路），xmind导出思维导图为markdown格式再导入另一个思维导图软件应该是比较常用或者容易实现的方式。但至少存在以下的问题我不太确定是否可以解决：

不同思维导图软件按markdown格式导出的导图结构可能并不完全相同，比如因为思维导图层级超过6层，不同的思维导图可能会有不同的表示方式，也即你用一个思维导图软件导出的markdown文件可能因为结构问题在第二个思维导图软件中渲染失败。所以我需要考虑是否只做某一个思维导图软件的导出导入，且可能需要改变我当前设计的导出格式。

如果实现了从xmind导入思维导图到anki，那么这些导图的节点均未和卡片相关联。根据我对该插件设计的底层逻辑，关联只能从卡片端向导图端发起，原因也在前一位评论者下方说明了。如果仅仅只是在anki中得到无链接节点的导图，这样似乎意义不大。如果有足
