This addon can import .mht files exported from OneNote. It looks for a table and create a card for every row where the first column is the front side and the second is the back side. Html format and images in the table cells are supported.

I REALLY wished this worked out. But I have spent several hours trying to get this add-on to work, and I just can’t get it to work. (I have OneNote 2016 and Anki 2.1). Like a previous comment here mentioned, the lack of a step by step guide made it difficult to figure out what to do. Several things I’ve figured out - if you have inking on the same One Note Page, then you won’t be able to import the deck (the inking messes up with the UTF-8 coding that Anki reads).

This worked well and was so incredibly useful for a while, but no longer seems to be working. I think this happened when I switched to OneNote 2016, but I’m not sure, as having now opened the page in 2010 on another device and exported the mht from there, it still does not seem to work. All the pages contain only single tables with two columns, but all of the ones I’ve tried (including very simple tables with no images etc.) have the same issue.
I don’t get an error, but get the following me

Note working on windows onenote 2016, I created a single table for each question, exported as a single file web page *.mht and then use to add-on to import that same file into anki. I didn’t receive an error, just no cards were imported. Is there something I am missing? any feedback would be helpful

Just copy the code, open it. and then restart anki. Then go to one note export your file. Open Anki tools and import hmt . man this is so cool. thanks buddy.

For anyone new to this who is having trouble you should be aware that any inking on a OneNote page ill cause importing issues with Anki.

Great Idea! (And feature suggestions) As a fan of onenote and anki, I was very happy to come across this. I have only imported one simple table thus far and I have found no issues. Some quick feature suggestions that I can think of:

Having Trouble Getting this to work as of FEB 8, 2016 I have a very simple table in my onenote 2013 program and after going to:
File
Export
Page
“Single File Web Page (.mht)”
and saving the file to my desktop; I am unable to get the file to import using the add-on. I get the following message:
