Simple pomodoro timer that appears when studying cards. Sound effect (bell ringing) when finishing a study session or break. Also creates a tracker with sushi symbols underneath for how many cycles completed.
Times are customizable in settings.
Timer initially appears in the bottom left. There’s an option to toggle under Tools > Pomodoro > Toggle Timer.

Good addon. It would be great it settings saved from prior anki sessions in a config file. Also please have a setting to toggle the sushi thing off, it just takes up space.
Also reporting a bug. Windows 11, happened when i tried to open settings.
Traceback (most recent call last): File “C:\Users<user>\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\addons21\938503378_init_.py”, line 239, in show_settings current_time_edit.setTime(QTime(0, int(self.time_left // 60), self.time_left % 60))

If you add stats that would be a game changer! Thanks

It doesn’t work automatically when you open the deck to study. You have to manually start and pause the timer. What’s the point of having this inside Anki? Any external app can do that. If it’s going to be inside Anki, then it has to work in sync with how Anki is actually used. Comment from author Newest update added this as a feature. The timer now automatically starts when you start studying.

Great, could be better if there was an option to hide the timer whilst you work, so it doesn’t distract Comment from author Thanks for the feedback. Were you thinking it still runs in the background while hidden or that you can hide it when not using it?
