This addon allows you to redraw cards during review sessions in Anki with the press of a keyboard shortcut (default Shift+Q) or by clicking a button. It’s especially useful when used with the Randomize Fonts addon, giving you the option to redraw a card to show it in another random font, so it can be used like a fallback option. While it’s designed with font randomization in mind, it can be applied to any scenario where you might need a card redraw during reviews.
Primary Use: Works best with the Randomize Fonts addon or other random elements on a card where, for example, one wants to struggle through a hard font but not make it part of their grading criteria, so the card can be redrawn for a new random font. Button and Shortcut: You can redraw the card either by clicking the new redraw button or by using the keyboard shortcut. Review Session Only: Currently, this feature works during review sessions only, not in the card browser (future updates may extend its functionality). Config: The shortcut can be changed in the config within Anki from Tools -> Add-ons. Statistics: Card timer restarts on redraw so it might mess with the statistics a little.
