NOTE Anki version 2.1.24 will natively support regular expression search. This add-on will therefore be DEPRECATED. This page is left as an archive for now.
This add-on allows you to use regular expression pattern matching to search for cards in the browser and the filtered deck creation dialog. It also provides a feature that allows you to use wildcard pattern matching to specify a field name.

edit: When trying to install via the add-on window, I receive: “Error downloading 2044559350: Invalid code, or add-on not available for your version.”

edit 3: I’m on 2.1.22 and still using it, thanks again! A warning to users: It also takes (invisible) HTML code into account. Comment from author before post was edited I have changed supported version. Please try to re-download.

Anki debería tener esta opción de serie. Es una aplicación imprescindible y confío en que muchos más usuarios reconozcan el trabajo. Personalmente haré una pequeña donación al creador si descubro como hacerla. Muchas gracias por crear este y otros «plugins».
Anki should have this series option. It is an essential application and I trust that many more users recognize the work. Personally I will make a small donation to the creator if I discover how to do it.
