The addon displays all duplicate cards (cards with the same question) below the original question, so that you can see them all. This may be convenient if you are displaying all words by their phonetical reading in Japanese, e.g. Question: kami Answers: deity, paper, hair
I’ll be happy to hear your feedback and bug reports via e-mail at putspаmhereplz (at) gmail.com (retype the email, it’s got spam protection characters). Conversely, I’m not tracking this add-on’s page, it’s inconvenient and the share toxicity coming from all the people upset with the add-on not working on new Anki versions that tend to frequently break backwards compatibility is very disheartening to look at. It is a pet project of mine that I don’t get paid for, and I haven’t even gotten a single “thanks” in ages despite the constantly growing number of downloads.
Known issues:
- Only the first (“true”) answer is marked as answered when you rate it. So if you’ve got three duplicates, you’ll have to answer them thrice. The feature will unlikely be implemented due to Anki2’s ever changing inner workings coupled with its potential destructive effects if something goes awry.
Changelog 0.73 (November 2021): Disabled add-on downloads for new Anki versions. Anki had a significant change in the internal data structures - again - so my add-on breaks, and I don’t have the time to fix it. 0.72 (January 2021): Fix the layout preview. 0.71 (January 2021): Fix the preview button. 0.7 (January 2021): Update the add-on to support Anki 2.1.38. No older version is supported any longer. 0.62 (February 2020): Update to make it work with Anki 2.1.19. It will likely break with the later builds - again - because the internal functions are being actively reworked. 0.61 (February 2019): Repackage the addon for the 2.1.x branch. 0.6 (March 2018): Partially rewrite the plugin. This should get rid of a few possible bugs (and hopefully not introduce too many new ones!) 0.5 (January 2018): More stability fixes. 0.4 (December 2017): Disable an overly strict assertion triggering if a card is moved to another deck under certain circumstances. 0.3 (Novermber 2017): Don’t group together non-text cards. 0.2: Update cache when the user adds/modifies/deletes cards. 0.1: Initial version.

UPDATE: seems to work again.

DO NOT USE with new anki versions. After it errors out it will prevent even closing the app correctly, so you will loose changes since last sync. Comment from author Update: Glad to hear it works. Let me know if you run into any other problems by sending an e-mail to the address in the description.

causes bugs with Version 2.1.33 (3f403040) and 2.1.26 (70784154) Comment from author Hi. New Anki versions broke backwards compatibility with the add-on, which is why you got the error. I’ve now updated it to work with 2.1.38. Feel free to try it. Please use e-mail from the description in the future for bug reports as I seldom if ever read this feedback form. I would’ve fixed it a long time ago if anyone e-mailed me about the problem. Cheers.

On Anki version 2.1.15 it did not create any issues.
I have not yet found, how to run this add-on.
Just wanted to confirm it creates no issues - in case someone got discouraged by the previous comment Comment from author Once you’ve installed it, it’s “on” by default and you can’t really turn it off unless you disable it. The way it works is in the description. If you need more information, feel free to email the address in the description for more information.

Not sure if this was conflicting with another addon or not, but this rendered Anki unusable for me.
