Implements same drawing/writing mechanism as in AnkiDroid. Your writing is NOT intended to remain on the cards after review - same as in AnkiDroid. Only supported on Linux (a.k.a. the maintainer does not use Windows).
Use the menu View → TouchScreen to activate/change settings.
Use Ctrl + R to toggle the touch screen.
Use icons which will show up in the top right corner of the review screen to temporarily hide/clean the board. Enjoy!

There is a known issue with infinite expansion of the drawing area on Windows - if you use Windows and know how to fix it, please send a pull request in the GitHub repository.
Tips & tricks
- center the content of your cards to prevent button overlap, or
- move the buttons to the bottom

Very helpful and paper saving. Makes cards more interaktive if you want to. Before this add on I used paper and pen or One note to draw and write my answers down (not all but e.g.chemical names, mathematical formula, physiological procedures or stuff which doesn’t want to get in my head a.s.o.). First I got problems with my pen lagging when writing on my cards with this app, but -> windows options -> pen and windows inc -> I want to use my pen in some apps as computermouse: check! -> solved this

I moved the buttons to the bottom and disabled windows ink for anki and it works great!
With windows Ink enabled there are weird ghost lines. Shortly after starting to draw a line, it jumps back to the start and back to the pen. Disabling Windows Ink fixes this and reduces latency. Go into the wacom tablet settings, add a profile for Anki and under Projection disable windows ink. Windows ink will still be enabled for all other applications, just not for Anki. So this workaround works perfectl

Simple and straightforward. Makes reviewing cards with a Wacom pen on Windows desktops a much more enjoyable and seamless experience.

Love this, makes the cards way more interactive. Changing the buttons from the top to bottom is 10000X better… not sure why it wasn’t like that right out of the box. Otherwise, as noted by other reviewers, the buttons obscure the card.
Also, the ctrl+r shortcut also causes the card to “undo” itself… kinda annoying. I’m using that shortcut much less now since I changed the buttons to be on the bottom.

Works like a charm, thank you so much author!! Used another program that had this feature and the ceased compatibility with ankiweb sync and i’ve been forced to use the official anki program. I’ve been terribly upset as the other had a draw function, which made the generic program 100X more powerful than the default… since you’ve added this add on, however, anki is now far superior. Thank you so much!!
