ActivityWatch watcher for Anki.
Currently the add-on monitors reviews and sends the following types of data to ActivityWatch: the card ID, note ID, and deck name. You can view your Anki activity in ActivityWatch’s Web interface by going to the Raw Data section and opening the bucket that has a name starting with anki-watcher. I may extend the add-on to monitor more types of events in the future (e.g. how much time the user spends adding/editing cards)

Thank you for this. Currently the title doesn’t get set when entering the browser though…

Thanks to this I just discovered ActivityWatch. However, I only see the information for this add-on in RawData → Buckets → anki-watcher_. I don’t know how to configure it in “Activities” view or set up some form of display.

Sounds like a great concept but not sure how it works, do I have to install ‘Activity Watch’ app for it to work or something? After installing the ‘activity watch for Anki’ I got this error - “Failed to connect to ActivityWatch. Make sure it’s running on port 5600 then restart Anki.” Comment from author Yes, you have to install ActivityWatch for the add-on to work.
