Advocator (Latin for assistant or backer) provides extended Latin support for Anki simplifying your work writing Latin vocabulary.
Features
Advocator is based on an add-on called Latin Support by Péter Dimitrov (see Thanks), which provides the following feature:
Easily write macrons (ā, ē, ī, ō, ū, ȳ and uppercase versions).
In addition to that, Advocator adds several new features:
Easily write breves (ă, ĕ, ĭ, ŏ, ŭ, y̆ and uppercase versions). Restrict Advocator to certain deck names or note types. Allow extensive customization.
To activate Advocator, select a deck or note whose name contains Latin or Latein (German for Latin). To write a macron, add an underscore to the vowel, to write a breve, add an asterisk. As soon as you change the field using tab or close the editor, the vowels get replaced. So, for example, a_ becomes ā and a* becomes ă.
