Inspired by the “Duolingo-style gamification add-on”, I decided to create this simple add-on that plays the music from the kahoot lobby on the front of the card, the sound before revealing the correct answer on the back of the card, and correct or incorrect sounds after choosing “again”, “hard”, “good”, or “easy”. The answer sounds will pitch up or down if you answer correctly or incorrectly consecutively, like some kind of streaks.
You can also enable or disable specific “thinking” sound categories:
Default Christmas Ghost mode Halloween 80s vibe Beatbox Holiday British month Jungle Back to school Roald Dahls Space Bob Marley
If you’re not sure which music belongs in which category, in Anki —> Tools —> Add-ons —> select Ankihoot —> View Files —> Sounds —> Thinking. There you can see the different folders, navigate to them, and listen to the Kahoot music categories you like and those you don’t.
Since I know absolutely nothing about programming, the code was written entirely by claude.ai
I would like to add more functionalities to the add-on (graphics, volume control, a better config interface). I might do it over time with the help of AI, or with people who know their stuff (like Shigeyukiඞ), please help me complete this😭)

Sounds like a w addon but can’t get it to work gave you a thumbs up for effort 🤣🤣. Hopefully someone sees this and tells me how it works (where does the streak show up) Comment from author Sorry, by “streak” I meant that the response sound isn’t just one, but rather progresses (increasing in pitch) until you answer correctly 5 times in a row, playing a different reward sound. I hope I explained myself well.

Dude this is great. As a programmer I approve. Idk wtf the code is, but who cares. The addon makes it so much more enjoyable to do anki cards.
