Mô tả chi tiết

AnkiMorphs is a fork of MorphMan, built from the ground up with a focus on simplicity and performance.

AnkiMorphs can rearrange your cards based on how well you know the words on them and how important the words are to learn. This ensures that your cards are arranged in the best order for optimal language learning.

Languages currently supported: Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek (Modern), Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Ukrainian.

Important: Before you begin using AnkiMorphs, make sure to create a backup of your card collection. This way, you can easily undo any unwanted changes that may occur.

Note: AnkiMorphs only works on Anki Qt6, and Qt5 support will not be added.

SO GOOD! Thanks!!!

Will you ever add support for RTL languages like Arabic and Hebrew? That would be triply amazing!

Awesome

superb for single-language learning, doesn’t really work if you’re learning multiple CJK languages unless you separate Anki profiles, of which only one profile can be synched to AnkiWeb because otherwise you’d be duplicating media folders (if the languages you’re learning don’t overlap in their written forms, the toolbar counters still lump them together, but that’s a minor problem as the counters are just motivational numbers). all in all, still very thankful that it exists

Thank you so much for this! The documentation is amazing, too. It genuinely restores my faith in humanity to see talented professionals like you invest your time to create and share such a great tool with everyone for free. Hats off.

I have never been so addicted to learning Japanese. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for this amazing add-on!! I use it to learn Chinese and it works perfectly. I’d like to use it for learning Russian too but unfortunately I can’t get SpaCy to work. Whenever I click on install I get [WinError 2] and it says that a file can’t be found. Anyone with the same problem?

Edit: with the update from Juli 22 it’s working now. Thanks so much!

Add on looks amazing but I can’t get it to work on my Mac, happy to pay someone to help me get it up and running? jlj159 on reddit

I use this extensively. I have created a priority list based on the Japanase Language Proficieny Test (JLPT) and I use this add-on to learn new sentences using new vocab from the list. I have had to tweak all of the settings (including algorithm parameters) and my experience is being quite hands on, but very worth it.

phenomenal, works without issue on newest Anki

This plugin should be at the top of all plugins, and it should also be built into Anki Desktop, it’s so great. But why not make more attractive enough demos to put into the plugin page? I think it might be more eye-catching than the manual, but although the manual is also AMAZING!

Loved to see MorphMan getting revamped, and done in such a refreshing manner. Highly recommend this for any language learner!

The best add-on for language learning with Anki

Looks like AnkiMorphs is getting abandoned as of October 2024. Try FrequencyMan for a more complex and flexible alternative. https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/909420026 While AnkiMorphs works, you can still use its frequency list generator wtih FM.

Is there any way to automatically generate dictionary entries for the cards or do we need to do that manually? I’m fine doing it either way, but just want to see what options are available.

This add-on is excellent for language learning. It does everything I need and helps me learn new words in context. The documentation is superb. I can’t thank the developer enough!

Thanks for reviving this! Good job!

Installed it together with Ankimorphs-chinese-jieba, used a Cantonese frequency file I got from Words.hk, and after a hick-up with my frequency file , I posted a github fault report and got an answer and a correctly edited frequency file as a reply (my file was semi-colon separated instead of comma separated). After that, is was all smooth sailing. Worked for me.

Glad I can now use my Cantonese frequency file to improve my Cantonese studies.

The author has now added a Cantonese frequency file

Amazing addon

This project is great! I have been using Anki for language learning for a few years now and it’s a pitty, that I haven’t heard about this add-on earlier.

It is very simple to setup and use with very well written documentation, and I’ve found this addon super helpful and effective for my learning so far. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project!

My main problem is the inability to delete keyboard shortcuts. Because of this, there are conflicts with the keyboard shortcuts of other addons.

Drop in replacement for morphman with subs2srs decks. The person below me, migaku dictionary had that feature but was discontinued, not sure if there’s a replacement.

Does what you want in relation to arranging cards in a “1T” order with a frequency list. However currently there does not appear to be any dictionary definition implementation, such as taking the “1T” word and pasting a definition of this into a field, meaning this is something you have to search more manually for every card. Is this something that will be looked into in the future?

It’s by far the best Add-On for language learning. The Documentation is really good! Thank you for your hard work!
