Auto-fetches Oxford Learner’s Dictionaries data (definition, usage examples, phonetics, audio, irregular verb forms, and optional image search links) with no API key required—just click the AutoDefine button in the Add dialog or editor. It’s strictly English-to-English, which helps intermediate/advanced learners progress faster. Ships with a ready-to-use “AutoDefineOxfordLearnersDictionary” note type and can also map to your custom fields, so setup takes seconds whether you use the default or your own layout. Removes the study word from the reverse card examples while keeping a hint for the first letters, encouraging active recall before revealing the answer. Supports “Define in bulk” directly from the Browse window, letting you queue dozens of notes and populate them in one run.

It’s very useful in the desktop version, but unfortunately, there’s no support for Android. Is there any possibility of making it work in the Android version? Comment from author It’s impossible because anki Android app doesn’t support add-ons at all. The only option is to create cards via android app and then bulk define them (there is an option in card browser menu) Cards created on PC is possible to learn on android
