Description This add-on automatically flips both sides of cards based on the lengths of the audios in the cards. If a card has no audio, it will wait for 3 seconds before flipping that card. When changing cards, the default mode is Again. It is suitable for any one who doesn’t want to press keyboard buttons to flip cards and especially helpful for those that are learning languages using Glossika’s method. Press j or Ctrl+j to start the add on.
Press k or Ctrl+k to stop it.
Press Shift-D to add silence after front card.
Press Shift-F to add silence after back card.
Press Shift-J to add silence after both front and back cards.
Press { to decrease the speeds of back cards’ audios.(Deprecated)
Press } to increase the speeds of back cards’ audios.(Deprecated)
Press < to decrease the speeds of both front and back cards’ audios.
Press > to increase the speeds of both front and back cards’ audios.
Press Ctrl+y to change mode. There are two modes. In the default mode, the add on will get time of the first audio in the card. In the other mode, it will get the time of all the audios. You can use this add on to play only the first audio in the card.

Great! it’s very useful,thanks for inspire me to develop another on called “Automatically flip 2” https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1226543617 i think calculate the sounds times are not very accurate, so i used another way just like monitor gui_hook’s av_player_did_end_playing to timer the auto flip cards. thanks again for inspire me to develop the second edition of “Automatically flip”

Brilliant!!! The add-on saves so much time to review cards. Moreover, it makes review process become challenging and fun! This should have been a built-in feature of Anki.

This is a great add-on. I use the similar one for Ankidroid my phone that works very well. The problem I found here is that when I try to use in cards with more than one sound fields, it does not work.

That’s what I’ve been missing for having a perfect Anki setup now! It is the final tool to make Anki automatically run in the background. I can do other things now and just listening while Anki is running and works off my huge stack.
There are some other good add-ons here but that’s the only one which makes it really completely automatically.
