I really really like the Add-On and I use it. But it is annoying that it conflicts with other apps that let you customize colors.
I don’t like mainly that it changes in nightmode the time like <1m <10m etc and also the timer i.e. counter, for instance “0:38’
I’d love if I could change configuration for these things, only in white mode ir works perfectly
I don’t mind using an earlier version of Anki to not get the recent bugs, but I’d love if it was more suitable for night mode

HERE IS HOW TO INSTALL FOR LATEST 2.1.49 VERSION
Thanks to fylux’s patch, Beautify Anki IS compatible with current latest version (July 6th 2022 on 2.1.49).
How to install it :

Open Anki and press Ctrl+Shift+A or simply open add-on preferences from Tools menu.

After the add-on preferences window is open click on the ‘View Files’ button. A folder will open. Then exit Anki.
OR simply
Go to < C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\addons21\ > or the directory where Anki keeps y

Very cool looking.
But had to play around a bit to get it working on Linux.
To anyone wanting to know how, i download the zip from the github distro and unpacked it in the ~.local/share/Anki2/addons21/ directory
I also needed to rename the resulting folder to Beautify, probably bc there was some problem with spaces in the filename.
As a message to the creators, It would be nice if we had the style in the add and browse windows.

If you want to make the GUI of Anki more good looking, yet are a lazy piece of shit (like i am), find an alternative for this add-on: to customize the look you have to wade through a whole slew of configuration files in the root of the add-on folder.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to update it from the GitHub page because your last update here is from May 2020 whereas the lastest one is from October 2020 on GitHub. I tried renaming the .zip file from GitHub to .ankiaddon but that didn’t help. It would be great if you could guide us. (Edit: I figured it out. See steps below.)
