I did not know what a birl is and had my headphones at max volume so thank you for the tinnitus.
Review: It’s an add-on that plays an audio file of your choice at the start when you load your first deck on anki (default: a crazy man screaming “anchovies hoop bar rooster cries BIRL”), and when you do around 10(or 20 I forgot the count) cards (or streak), another audio file (default: a crazy man screaming “BIRL”) will play (which can happen multiple times in a single deck). Adds some nice flavor to your reviews!
Pro-tip: You can replace the sounds in the birl-reinforcement folder with any mp3 file you like. (But who would want to substitute the awesomeness that is the BIRL, huehuehue?).
P.S.: Just in case you’re not aware of this, the GitHub link points to an empty repo.
