Cambridge Dictionary Parser for Anki
This Anki addon allows you to easily create flashcards from Cambridge Dictionary entries. It automatically fetches word definitions, pronunciations (both UK and US), transcriptions, and audio files.

It is really helpful, thank you! I hope it will support more primary languages in the future. As an alternative, I tried modifying the base URL to change the default language:
- Tools → Add-ons → (Select) Cambridge Dictionary Parser → View File.
- I found it in this folder (Windows): C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\addons21\204494925\
- Then, I modified “parser/cambridge.py” (line 30) to set English-Chinese (Traditional) as the default language: self.ru_base_url = “https://dict

It’s exactly what I have been looking for and works perfectly if I wish to build up my own list of words, not importing from other dictionaries or database.
Just wonder if you can kindly update your add-on to make it with different choices, such as English -English, English-Russian, English-Chinese, etc. Many thanks.

Awesome addon! Could you record a video how to modify cards? For example I don’t want to see any describtion of a word on the front side, so I want to modify cards a little, but I don’t even understand why I can see translation on the back side (there is only “{{FrontSide}}” tag in the back template). I see some css styling here, but I don’t see any html tags in Definitions field, so I don’t understand why css works fine. Comment from author To view the HTML, click <> above the Definitions input
