This is a simple port of the ‘reset creation times’ add-on (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1348853407) to Anki 2.1.

Good Add-On except you’re not able to change daytime.
I fixed this with help of chatgpt. I am no programmer haha. But it seems to work.
Anyways, don’t know how to share it here because of limited amount of letters.

Great idea for an addon, and thanks for the effort to port it to 2.1.
Sadly it doesn’t work as addon’s name suggests:
CARD creation time doesn’t change at all. What’s changed is the NOTE creation time.
But even in notes view in browser, with notes sorted in some (any) order, after applying the addon, the timestamps of notes change, but not in the sequence the notes are currently sorted in browser.
Please make the addon reset the CARD creation timestamps in the order they are currently show

Only possible to change Created Date while it´s still impossible to change Added Date (which messes up the stats for many).

I’ve tried all kind of manipulations and add-ons and none were doing what I needed: exporting to .txt in the due order.
The cards were imported with AnkiGen and dated 1970 in the wrong order…

Does what it says it’ll do.
I didn’t quite understand what this would do with time, but it does what I wanted it to do: It doesn’t increment the date for each card selected, it increments in ticks (not too sure whether they are ticks or seconds or quite what) on the same day so all cards selected have the same date but incremental times. Just what I needed. Thanks.

Great addon, allow us to change the order for cards by the creation date (so when rescheduling) we can study cards be the sequence of the subject learned. when u’ll update the addon, to include also the time (hour:minutes:seconds) and not only the date
