📊 Chart Popup — Show Reference Images During Review
Need a quick visual reference while reviewing? Chart Popup lets you display a floating, resizable image (like a periodic table or cheat sheet) by pressing C during a review.
✨ Features 🔄 Toggle with C: Show or hide the popup at any time. 🖼️ Custom Image Support: Just replace chart.png in the add-on folder with your own PNG. 📊 Default Image: The default image is the MCAT Periodic Table. 📐 Auto-scaling: Images automatically scale to 700px width. 🔒 Safe: Doesn’t change your cards or modify Anki data. 🛠️ How to Use Install the add-on and restart Anki. Press C during review to show/hide the popup. Press Esc or C again to close the popup. 🛠️ How to Change Image Go to Tools → Add-ons → Chart Popup → View Files. Replace chart.png with your own image (must be a PNG with the same file name chart.png). Restart Anki 💡 Notes Shortcut: Key is case-insensitive (C). You can change it in init.py. Tested: Works on Anki 23.10 – 24.4 (Qt 6). Built with: Pure Python + PyQt5/6 — No card or DB changes. 👍 PS
If this add-on gets 25 likes, I’ll release an update that supports multiple images with easy switching!
