This add-on finds all Chinese words in the CC-CEDICT dictionary that only use the characters in the decks you select (sorted by frequency), missing HSK words and analyzes the frequency of characters. Start the add-on by clicking on CWF>Start (Ctrl+W).

The only problem is that I didn’t have this from the start and now many of my cards have something like “刚（才）” written in their Hanzi-field which of course is neither being recognised as 刚 nor as 刚才. So I feel like I get a lot of unnecessary doubles. Guess I will have to rework those 4000 cards first and then run your add-on again.

The idea sounds awesome and I’d really like to use it, but it gives me an error with anki version 2.1.11 on manjaro linux. It works in a windows virtual machine, but it would be nice if you could add support for linux. Comment from author I’m not sure why it wouldn’t work on linux, but I updated it so maybe give it another try. If it still doesn’t work, please send me the error message.
