You are warned as soon as there is a latex error
You can find notes with latex error, because they have a LaTeXError tag

Honestly, both enhancements from this addon (compiling LaTeX upon card add/edit, and tagging cards with LaTeX compilation errors) should be part of core Anki. If you feel like submitting this to core Anki, I’m sure a lot of people would thank you. Comment from author You can certainly request this on anki’s forum.
