This add-on allows to reposition new cards (changing the due field) in a fast way from the browser view (without using the reposition tool).
To use this add on, sort the cards in the browser by due date. At this point three new actions appear in the Cards menu and can be used to move cards up, down and to top.
Multiple cards can be moved together.
Using the shortcuts ALT+Up/Down/0 repositioning is even faster.

Really useful, thank you! I really like the fact that it updates the browser view instantly, instead of having to refresh the window (which is the default behaviour in Anki). Thanks!

The buttons are greyed out and don’t work. Alt+up/down also dont’t work :( Comment from author You have to sort the cards by Due Date to enable the buttons.

Literally essential tool, Thank you!
But there’s an issue I wanna share: there is no step back in repositioning cards, I know it might be because of anki app itself but this is important to me. Is there anything else we can do? for example exchanging position (due section) of a card with it’s top card. This may solve the issue…
But anyway, thank you so much for this tool.
*Tip: you can select multiple notes and reposition them at once… hope this helps you.

A penny saved… Very useful for those that use large decks to push cards to the top as they learn new vocab. For example, I use core 10000 and a few other decks, and every time a word comes up in real life that I want to know, I reposition it at the top of the deck. This add-on makes it painless: <alt>+<0>.
So thanks to the architect for adding this shortcut!

A great tool Should be available in Anki by default.
