Test Upload. This add-on may or may not work. Use this at your own risk!
Check the calculations of this add-on with deck and card info sidebar during review.
This add-on adjusts the interval of a card you failed (rated as “1/again”). By default if you press “again” for a card it’s reset and scheduled for the next day (Deck Options - Lapse - “New interval 0%” and “Minimum interval” 1 day). Many people consider this to be too short because this can increase your workload a lo. But this approach might have a shortcoming: Showing a lapsed card with a prior interval of 5 days after 4 days (80%) might be good but if the card had an interval of 5 years waiting 4 years for the first review after a lapse is too long for me. I would prefer less than a year (<20%). This add-on sets the lapse interval at 100% for short intervals and 25% for long intervals. For intervals between those two extremes the lapse interval is adjusted in a linear fashion. These values are user adjustable.
Another add-on that changes the again interval based on the interval of the card you failed is Another Retreat (removed from ankiweb for unknown reasons in 2019-12). This is an interesting add-on but not what I wanted: This add-on should more or less always give you a fixed percentage of the prior interval.

> you don’t need an add-on in the v3 scheduler. you can get the functionality in the new v3 scheduler with custom js (that will also work on mobile). Someone “just” has to write fully new code (though it’s simpler than creating this add-on) … I don’t know when I’ll have time for this.

Hey, can you support 2.1.35 anki version? Comment from author Thanks for your interest in my add-on.
Then Anki creator mentioned in the summer (of 2020) that he’s working on improving the internals of the scheduler [1]. These changes will make Anki faster, more stable, and maybe give add-on developers new options.
I guess that regular users won’t notice these changes but that many scheduler related add-ons will break and need to be updated. At the moment my plan is to wait until these chan

Firstly, I would like to draw attention to this related and hugely useful add-on: https://github.com/daedsidog/Anki-autoLapseNewInterval
I do see in the stats screen that retention with mature cards is worse than with young cards. So, I’ll give the present add-on a try.

Sadly, this does not work with the latest version I’m using 2.1.30 with v2 scheduler.
Edit: it is now working but the problem is the setting of the minimum rate cannot be adjust to value of a100 above. Furthermore, the confusing part is tweaking the setting of the minium interval days. So it is below the given value? Btw thank you for updating this. Comment from author I don’t understand your questions. If you repost them in the thread in the official forum that I just added to the “contact a

Yet to try and who knows if I will notice much difference. I’m an experienced user of anki (whatever that info is worth). Really pleased someone put this up on Ankiweb.
