UPDATE: If you are updating from a previous version (before July 27th, 2025) then you must create a new deck to sync to/from for full functionality. Ideally, sync to lingq from your current deck on your previous version of LingqAnkiSync, then update LingqAnkySync to a new version and create a new deck and do a full sync from Lingq. This should be a one time breaking change, and should not occur again.
TLDR: An addon to import all Lingqs from a language into an anki deck and setting a due date based on the lingq known status. Then after using anki you can sync to Lingq to update the Lingq known status based on the anki interval. This way you can import your Lingqs to anki, study in anki, then update Lingq based on your anki study.

You will need: Your Lingq API key: https://www.lingq.com/en/accounts/apikey/ The language code for the lingq language you want to import/sync. Example: “es” for spanish. A new empty deck to import into.

I’m glad I don’t have to keep an Anki tab whenever I read now, it makes things so much more convenient. The one thing I have an issue with is I have to keep changing the deck I want the words to be imported in. The addon keeps switching to Default. Can you update it so that it remembers your previous deck choice?

The Creator fixed this, so you can sync lingq’s again.
There does still seem to be an issue pushing your lingq’s back to the website, but that might be a limitation of the api

Thanks for the useful add-on. It used to work perfectly, but recently the synchronization had an issue. Then today after Anki’s update, the add-on is not working anymore.

Sync not working: generates 429 Client Error
Update [Dec 2023]: After the latest update, trying to sync the deck generates the error “404 Client Error: Not Found for url: https://www.lingq.com/api/v3/fi/cards//481841528/”.
After creating an empty deck, it synced correctly with LingQ, but subsequent syncs generate the same error. Comment from author before post was edited This error has been resolved. Lingq updated their api to limit how many requests could be made.
