A simple anki addon to merge duplicate notes into a single note.
Usage: Select any number of notes/cards in the browser, right-click, and press “Merge duplicate notes” (or “Cards”->“Merge duplicate notes”).

Works for me. I used MassAdd to import a list of notes, accidentally did it twice for the same list, highlighted the new notes in the browser, right-clicked, opened the “Cards” submenu, clicked “Merge duplicate notes”, instantly deleted exactly half the notes.

works excellently. I think the problem some people might be having is that you need to highlight BOTH the notes that are duplicates of one another in order to successfully merge them. if you have a whole deck of cards that have some duplicates In them then you can select all the cards and click “merge duplicates”
