Just slight tweaks to the default anki theme to make it more minimal and consistent.
Some of the main changes: • Top bar buttons on home screen converted to icons. • Removed distractions from home page. • All buttons now look like the default macOS buttons. • Editor buttons have icons changed to fontawesome icons. • Ability to remove editor buttons to reduce clutter. • Added a few essential editor buttons.
Most features are optional, and you can turn them on/off in the add-on config.

(enable both in config)

I recently updated to Anki 2.1.49, the addon still works great. At least the homepage icons work, as for the editor buttons and the reduced home page clutter I’m not even sure, I’ve been using this addon for a while now and I don’t quite remember how it’s supposed to look by default. In my opinion it’s one of my essential addons.
I had a small issue on 2.1.49 though : the config window doesn’t seem to register when I enable the “Show studied cards today” option. To solve this simply open you

Great! I like everything about this add-on except one thing - deck stat that is removed from deck page. Comment from author you can change that in the options. go to the add-on config and replace:
“hide ‘studied cards today’ in homescreen”: true,
with:
“hide ‘studied cards today’ in homescreen”: false,
(in case you don’t know where the addon config is: click “Tools” in top menu bar → click “Add-ons” → click “Minimal Theme” in the window that pops up → click “Config”)

Does not work with Anki 2.1.47 in macOS, was working great in 2.1.45 :(

The minimal design looks fantastic. Unfortunately, I prefer to use Anki in dark mode and the add-on doesn’t seem to display the icon correctly on dark mode. Would love to see a dark mode update in the future.

Works perfectly fine. It looks nice and clean with the top bar is replaced with images instead of the words to look better.
