This is a placeholder for the UWorld QID to Anki Search add-on that is currently being beta tested. If you would like to beta test, you can sign up to be an AnKing VIP.
Why is this add-on only available to AnKing VIPs? This add-on was paid for using money that is earned on our AnKing Membership. We create add-ons using this income, release them for Members only first, and eventually release them to the public. Creating and maintaining add-ons is very time-intensive and expensive, so we have to fund this somehow. We employ some fantastic software engineers in the community to help us create tools that are useful to everyone. If you have ideas for new add-ons that would be useful or fun, please feel free to let us know!
What other add-ons and perks are available to AnKing VIPs? We have made a running list of all current beta add-ons on this website. Other perks of being a member include individualized help with Anki, early release YouTube videos, live Q&As, etc. These are listed under the tiers on the VIP Sign-up page.
Why are we putting it on AnkiWeb early? Because we plan to release these add-ons to the public eventually, we create an add-on listing in order to get an add-on code. This makes it so that the add-on our VIPs download will continue to get updated once it is released to the public (vs needing to delete the early release add-on and redownload the public one)
What other add-ons have we funded? Other add-ons we’ve released and/or are currently maintaining using income from this project include: Advanced Card Styles, AnKing Note Types (Easy Customization), Browser Resizer, Clickable Tags, Custom Background Image and Gear Icon, Export Single Tag for Sharing, Fastbar, Field Autocomplete, ReColor, Special Fields, and more!
What will this specific add-on be like? This add-on will let you take a string of Question IDs (QID) from UWorld (i.e. 2628, 16383, 1836, 1233, 26373) and convert it into a search within the AnKing Step 1/2 Deck in the Anki browser. You can also export a string of QIDs

I honestly and legitimately don’t understand the flak people put out for rating this addon. Can nobody read the — go with me on this, trust, me it’s right there — SECOND word in the addon? It says “placeholder.” I can vouch for the actual addon. Yes, I have it. Yes, it works. Yes, it’s worth it. And if you are just absolutely gawking at a $5 membership fee (from the Bronze tier on Anki Palace), guess what? It’s $5. Pay

Sir, this is essentially an ad. If you want to get the benefits of exposure to anki users, spend a lot of money on advertising. You want to cash in, but not put out. Also, you’re cashing in on people who have no money to begin with. Always backwards, like banking systems. They have fees for the poor, but if you have enough money in the account you don’t get charged a fee. It’s great! Good job. Get this garbage ad out of here, it doesn’t belong here.

This is just to say, go try out “Find Cards From UWorld Test”, it is free like Anki medical decks should be. I think there’s a few others but this one works the best. Also combine it with add on called “Create Filtered Deck From Tag”. Then it takes 5 seconds to 1) find the cards either the entire deck or incorrects, 2) tag them accordingly, 3) make a filtered deck
Just recreate the filtered deck any time you need to. Funny that most of the cards in Anki came from creators, but Anking is trying

Hello,
Great addon, but the export function doesn’t work as expected.
It says, “You just copied some UWorld question IDs to your clipboard. Should these be excluded from future question ID exports/runs of this command?”
but nothing has really been copied to the clipboard. It only exports IDs to the file: AppData\Roaming\Anki2\addons21\607963104\user_files\already_exported_qids.json. And it would be tiring to go to the file every time to copy IDs. Waiting for the fix :) Comment from author Loo

Update was released today to remove the support of current Anki version. Not too sure why this was done in the first place (possibly due to other similar add-ons being released that were similar to this).
I loved this particular add-on compared to the other two that offer the same functionality, primarily due to letting the users know which QIDs did not have existing cards. I was a member (membership now expired), and I downloaded directly from your website. This add-on should have never bee
