An add-on for importing Pleco bookmarks, enhancing the integration of two essential tools for learning Chinese. Please check out the GitHub page for a comprehensive manual and more details.
The AddOn streamlines flashcard creation by automatically transferring the character info, pinyin, definitions, and examples from Pleco Bookmarks to Anki cards, with improved formatting. Optionally, it includes context-rich example sentences from Spoonfed Chinese for enhanced pronunciation practice and learning from context.
Quick Guide Install using the code 427686509 or by downloading the AddOn directly Export Pleco Bookmarks on your phone and save them onto your computer. Make sure to use the settings specified here. Import the Bookmarks in Anki under Tools -> Import Pleco Bookmarks Reformat the cards to your liking

Great add-on for mandarin. Followed the directions and it worked very smoothly. Any chance to have an option to include Cantonese jyutping and example sentences as well?

Does what it says it does! As an intermediate learner, I use Pleco to read light novels and save any vocabulary I’m not familiar with. This might mean adding 200 words per chapter – If I tried to add these manually and stopped my reading progress every time to do so, that’d be a daunting task. Be sure to export your vocabulary according to the details listed on the author’s GitHub page.

I really liked the add on! But now I’m getting an error “Please select a valid Place bookmark file. More info on Github page.” even though I followed the export bookmark settings exactly. I was able to import one .pqb file 2 weeks ago, but now the exported bookmarked file does not upload. Comment from author Hello. I’m glad to hear that you like the add on :)
Usually the exported file from pleco should be a .txt file. I am not sure why it worked before and now does not anymore. I never develop

works great, thanks a lot! this tool lets me generate a lot of new vocabulary cards from the appropriate HSK level, from the pleco decks. I could succesfully install the addon into anki from the addon site. used pleco export settings as in the screenshot to generate the import file. upon importing using the tool menu, anki gave an error message, and the imported deck wasn’t displayed. however, closed and reopened anki, and deck is there, so no problem! I used the bulk fill tool of the Chinese Su
