A progress bar that shows your progress in terms of passed cards per review session.

This progress bar add-on is a fork for Anki24+. How to use it, please refer to the original Add-ons.

It’s really sweet to keep track of how far I am in my study session!
Quick question: do you know why the count in the progress bar ( x / x ( y %)) doesnt show the same number as the number of cards reviewed in the lil streak calendar if you select today? The number in the progress bar seemed to vary when I used undo after inputting the wrong number for a card, so that might have something to do with it.

Update to comment: As a suggestion - would you be able to enable a setting where the numbers (aka show %, time left, cards left) would go ABOVE the progress bar as opposed to inside it? Once the progress bar hits below a certain height, it becomes difficult to read the numbers because they get cut off. Still love the add-on, thank you! great add on, it seems like the amount for time left is inaccurate. for my deck of 200 cards, it predicted my time remaining to be 3 mins Comment from author Hi thanks for the feedback. The remaining time is calculated based on the seconds from previous cards so it is not accurate, to adjust this additional options may be needed. I’ll look into it.

Good add-on, nice customization. However, the options “Show Percent” and “show time left” appear to be rely on “Show Number”. If I uncheck “Show Number”, then the percent won’t appear, even if “Show Percent” is checked. A similar issue happens with “show time left”, though it seems to be more inconsistent: I have seen ”| left 1 min” etc. stay on-screen sometimes, based on state. Really love the addon! The time-estimate was inaccurate sometimes for me, so i looked in the code and managed to fix it by changing line 396 (in shige_progress_bar.py) to: output += estimateTimeLeft(pbMax - pbValue)
(the original line was: output += estimateTimeLeft(pbMax) so the times was calculated from the total number of cards due instead of the number of cards left) Comment from author Hi thanks for the feedback and code! I’ll look into it.

This is a good add-on, however, the add-on counts a card each time you undo the card (ctrl + ‘z’). This makes it so you can get endless points for these cards and makes the progress bar inaccurate. Hope you fix this and overall the add-on is great, don’t stress. Comment from author before post was edited Hi thanks for the feedback! The reason I do not yet support Undo is due to technical causes. Anki stopped supporting the Undo hook after upgrading to the V3 scheduler, thus triggering functions

When a card review is undone, the progress bar does not retract, causing a discrepancy between the bar and the actual progress.

great addon!!
A couple of notes:
-Under option1 --> the center gradient color has a typo ("Cneter").
-when I use this with filtered decks, the progress bar does not reset when I rebuild the deck. It starts at like ~60%. Not sure what it is including in the calculation. --> do i have to restart anki each time? --> restarting anki restarts the progress bar, so that answers my question
-The percent option on the progress bar doesn't show up unless you also use the 'Show Number' option.

Works great! The only issue I have right now since I undo alot is how undoing makes the total card number go up but the author is aware of this issue and is according to a reply working on it.
