This add-on tries to remove all line breaks from selected text or when no text is selected the whole field. This is e.g. useful when pasting text from PDF files.
This add-on offers some configuration options (like the shortcut).
You should adjust the default shortcut combination. If the shortcut suddenly stops working you should check if you have a shortcut conflict: If the same shortcut is set twice (e.g in Anki and one add-on or in two add-ons) then the shortcut is not working anymore.

I knew there would be a quick fix like this, but I kept postponing checking until I developed a deeply stubborn habit of manually removing the line breaks for just one more card. Proposal for a useful option (at least for me): pdf texts (from books) often have Non-breaking space which fucks up my cards every time. So, what I must do: go to the browser, select the cards, do a find and replace: replacing “ ” with ” ” (just a normal space). That’s quite cumbersome. If possible (and it’s probably easily implemented) this option could be added to the addon. Comment from author that sounds useful. I’l
