Anki Deck Reverser Description
Anki Deck Reverser is an Anki add-on that allows users to create reversed cards from an existing deck. This add-on is particularly useful for language learners or anyone who wants to study their flashcards from both directions.

Good idea, but it is only compatible with the default deck format. Although you can just fix it for whatever your card groups are called.
I use the Quizlet import addon, which has the group names as FrontText and BackText, so I had to go into the Python file and replace everything labeled Front with FrontText and Back with BackText. I also added another block for swapping FrontAudio and BackAudio.

Worked, for some reason if it didn’t work for you My native language is not English so the front and back of the card aren’t actually named “Front” and “Back”, it’s in my native language so it fail to sync with the can’t find the front and back error.
Renamed them back to “Front” and “Back” sync normally

I wanted this to work so badly i have been trying to figure out how to flip cards in my deck for so long. But every time i try it all it says is does not have front and back fields when they do…

Very useful addon! As mentioned before, if you’re getting the ‘no front or back found’ error message, you have to create or rename fields that the cards have to ‘front’ or ‘back’. I just wish that the addon could apply to multiple fields at once, especially with more complicated decks.

This works as described and well! You’ll see some comments mentioning errors around “front and back not found” you need to go name a field on your cards “Front” and “Back” for it to find to get around that error.

I did everything it said I should to install it, I successfully installed it but it keeps saying the source card doesn’t have a front and back, when it does. 👎🏿

This is a great initiative but I am also getting the error where it says cards do not have “front” and “back”. I even had to force quit Anki. I dunno why, I am just some random user without technical expertise. It might be because I am using a custom deck.

It’s working perfectly. The installation process has changed slightly. There’s no need to install from a file anymore—just enter the code and restart Anki, and it will be there automatically.

It works well. I wonder why such an add-on isn´t more popular. It´s really useful for when you already have a great, useful deck, but you need to learn how to ascribe instead of recognize or to produce instead of understand and vice versa. Thank you very much!
