This is a FIXED version of the original add-on Symbols As You Type. I did not make the original add-on, but I fixed it so that it works on the newest Anki versions.
Tested and works on version 23.10.1.

this doesn’t work when editing card mid review at least (pressing e). the application just greys out after you confirm the edit

Doesn’t work in the “Edit in Review Cloze” window on Anki version 23.12.1; you have to go into the “edit” screen for it to work… so it’s not really “fixed” from the original Symbols As You Type add-on (which also used to work in the Edit in Review Cloze window, but no longer does unfortunately!)

Thanks so much for fixing it! Was lost without it :D. This is the perfect way to add symbols to Anki easily and is supremely consistent with my workflow.
