Anki’s add-on to display today’s Again count in menu bar for each card
Description [again] Number of times you have pressed Again in a row today for the current card. When you press Hard/Good/Easy, it returns to 0. [lapse] If you press Good and then Again, the number of Laps will increase. But the first Again doesn’t count. [graduate] Number of consecutive correct answers so far(not just today)
You can change the settings. I think it might be better to exclude Hard, it is off by default.

[ 📥 How do I install this add-on? ] Copy and paste the add-on code ( 50293437 ) into Anki and you can install it. Addon request: please make addon to count total num of new cards you have added today and display num to homescreen !! I am waiting for your reply Comment from author Thanks for the request. I have already developed add-ons similar to it (New card Heatmap & New card Farm), but still only available on Patreon (Not Free). I plan to release it for Free in the future when a lot of development is done, so if you want updated info please follow me for free.

Tysm! I had a question though; how can a card lapse 3 times in a day? I thought it had to lapse first, then re-graduate, then fail again for the second lapse to count? Comment from author The “lapse” is not exactly Anki’s “lapse”, it counts the number of times user presses Again after Good within today. For example,
- Again(0) -> Good(0) -> Again(1) -> Good(1) -> Again(2)
- Again(0) -> Again(0) -> Again(0) -> Good(0) -> Again(1) The first time is 0. This feature was requested by the Reddit user.

Pretty useful.
One thing I noticed though is that some cards start to build up a lot of symbols so instead having ★★★★★★★★★★★ it might be better to have ★ x 11 Maybe have some threshold such as once symbols surpass a count of ten or twenty, it starts to use the symbol x times, which keeps the enjoyable symbol but makes things more compact Comment from author This is a good idea, I’ll try to incorporate it later.
