Add parametric wrapper buttons to Anki. Those interact for instance with closes or html embedding
It contains by default buttons to:
Center but left justified (button) Remove the current cloze, keeping text (shortcut: ctrl+alt+u) go to end of cloze, inside (shortcut: ctrl+space) go to beginning of cloze, inside (shortcut: ctrl+alt+space) go to end of cloze, outside (shortcut: ctrl+shift+space) go to beginning of cloze, outside (shortcut: ctrl+alt+shift+space)

Ankidroid has that capability by default, but Anki Desktop doesn’t for some reason.

Used to love the left-justify feature but it is not working anymore. Anyone know of any other add ons able to left justify text ?

Had gread experience so far, for some reason it now stopped working. The cards are back to center (without left alignment). The button doesn’t change anything – neither on the visible card nor does it have any effect on the html-code.

I saw cards in a pre-made deck with justified alignment and it was driving me crazy that I couldn’t figure out how to do it when making my own cards (no coding experience). I wish I had found this add-on sooner!

Is it possible for the mnemonic styling button, to add a feature so that when I highlight text and then click the button it will apply to that highlighted text? I have realized after the fact for many cards I want this styling. And when you click the button it just inserts <div></div> at the beginning of the highlighted text but does not wrap the highlighted text. Very good intended functions that would have been helpful, but unfortunately they didn’t work when I tested the add-on on my Mac. An update would be greatly appreciated. I upgraded my Anki to 2.1.49 and all the options from this addon are missing in the edit menu. I don’t see any of them in the task bar. I tried removing/reinstalling the addon…no luck. Please help/fix.
Edit: disregard, after a few days and restart, it suddenly showed up.

This isn’t working for me, even when I disable all other addons. I think it isn’t updated for the latest version of anki?
The buttons show up but don’t work and the shortcuts also don’t work.

After using this “Remove the current cloze, keeping text (shortcut: ctrl+alt+u)” if you click undo it wont put the ”}}” back on the end of the cloze

The add-on will not load properly! I even updated to latest version (5/29/2020) and it still doesn’t work. Needs a major fix
