An add-on for encrypting data stored in Anki Fields to help secure Cards intended for memorizing passwords and other private information.
Encrypting a password
Select the Field in Anki Editor to put encrypted data into and click the Encrypt button
Enter the password into the appeared window and click Ok
The hash for the password will be added to the Card’s Field
The add-on is only needed for the initial encryption of the data, and is not used during reviews, allowing the encrypted flashcards to be studied on the mobile Anki apps as well. For making typing Cards that autocheck encrypted answers, the complementary template can be used. Alternatively, to make any other template that uses stock Anki typing compatible with the answers generated by the add-on, the following JS script can be added to the back of the Cards.
