Mô tả chi tiết

⚑ ARROW KEY SETTINGS ⚑ The Ultimate Reviewer Navigation Add-on

Control Anki with your Keyboard

⬆️ UP = AGAIN   |   ➡️ RIGHT = EASY

⬇️ DOWN = GOOD / SHOW ANSWER

⬅️ LEFT = HARD

📜 SHIFT + ⬆️⬇️ = SMOOTH SCROLLING

🚀 What is this?

This is a complete professional overhaul of the standard navigation. It doesn’t just map keys—it gives you a Settings Dashboard, Physics-based Scrolling, and Smart Context Logic to control Anki entirely with your keyboard.

⭐ Professional Features 🧠 Smart Context Engine: The add-on intelligently knows if you are looking at the Question or Answer. You can set Down Arrow to “Show Answer”, and then press it again to rate the card “Good”. 📜 Smooth Physics Scrolling: Use Shift + Up and Shift + Down to scroll through long cards smoothly. You can customize the speed and smoothness in the settings. ⚙️ Visual Settings UI: No more editing code! Go to Tools → Arrow Key Settings to change keys, adjust scroll speed (%), or toggle animations. 🛡️ Safety Checks: It automatically detects if a card is New (3 buttons) or Review (4 buttons) so you never press a button that doesn’t exist.

🛠️ Configuration

You can customize everything in the dedicated menu:

Open Anki. Click Tools in the top toolbar. Select Arrow Key Settings.

Here you can remap keys to WASD, change scroll distance (default 12%), or disable smooth animation.

I like this addon. I can now do reviews without stretching my hand across the keyboard to hit 1, as I so frequently do. To aid it my minimal energy-expenditure, I would suggest adding an option, maybe toggle-able in a config, to have the down key also act as enter/return when the timebox alert pops up (I’m one of the rare users that uses the timebox feature a lot), so I don’t have to stretch my finger 2cm to press enter to close it. Hand movement would be truly zero at that point.
