avgEase
Anki 2.0 and 2.1 addon. Iterates through each of your deck options group and sets the initial ease factor to the average ease factor of mature cards (intervals > 90 days) within that options group.

Love the idea, it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. Only problem is that it does seem to cause an issue with the latest version of Anki. Would be awesome if this were fixed! Here’s the debug report:

I’ve read the explanation on the website. Brilliant. I’m going to find this especially advantageous for my text-heavy cards which are already relatively slow to get through.

Works great! And perhaps the plugin has been updated since but contrary to the latest comment it does work well with he latest 2.1 version of Anki.

It was a good idea but it cannot support newer versions of Anki and the developer does not seem interested in fixing it. The addon is dead.

So this will create several different study options tabs according to my subdecks? How will it manage subdecks? I don’t get it. I have one major deck with >500 subdecks and child decks. Do I need to separate them all? Thanks!

Bon concept L’idée est intéressante et bien décrite dans la page de description. Cependant le temps de chargement d’Anki augmente considérablement (quelques secondes). Je l’exécute une fois pour faire les calculs et ensuite le supprime. Merci. :-)
