Warning This add-on is quite risky. If you sync your computer before and after changing a note type, everything should be all right. But if a note’s type is modified with this add-on, and edited on another computer, you may lose data. In this case, you are responsible for all data loss.

Description
Currently, changing a note’s type require to sync the entire collection. This add-on simply removes this restriction and assume that you, the user, will act wisely in order to avoid creating bugs.
It means that you must sync all your devices before changing a note type, and then sync them after the note type. I.e. you must act exactly has you would have done without this add-on.

I really need this add-on😭 It can perfectly solve my current problem. But unfortunately it’s incompatible with the latest version of Anki. I searched for alternative methods over the past week but it seems that there’s only one person on the whole Internet who cares and knows how to solve this problem. Hope the developer could update this add-on soon. Many loves in advance.

It’s an amazing plugin, which from my prospective must be in the main code. Changing a note type is a typical and simple operation. There’s no reason to trigger the whole collection upload. I don’t understand why Anki developers initially made such a design flaw that now requires plugins to workaround it
It’s a pity though that the plugin doesn’t seem to work with the most recent version of Anki :(
