This add-on is a menu extension for Anki. You can develop mind maps using Dia software in Ubuntu 18.04. You only need do two steps: 1) Install Dia in your system: software center. 2) Install the add-on in Anki. When you work in a card and you need create a mind map, just click in Tools>DIA, and the program will open. And create, store a mind map for your card. Export to PNG picture in a folder. And put the picture in the card.

On Windows add C:\Program Files (x86)\Dia\bin to your PATH. (Windows neither adds C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) to the PATH nor searches recursively for executables, you have to manually add every installed program you want to run to the PATH if you want to command it to open)
